Visitors insurance

Friday, January 30th, 2009

We live in a world of several choices. Where ever we go, be it the shopping mall or the grocery store, we get inundated with choices. It is easiest to select things we are most familiar with or things recommended by friends and family. However, this might not be the best method to buying visitors insurance when you have family visiting the USA. Most of us have little or no knowledge about visitor insurance, and have never purchased it before. We have no information about the different products available or about the differences between them. To introduce transparency and to provide an objective means to compare visitors insurance plans of different providers, American visitor insurance has developed a visitors insurance comparison facility.

The visitors insurance comparison tool is easy to use, and gives the premium quotes of all plans that a traveler can purchase for the given age of the traveler and a given travel period. The traveler can compare the coverage details along with the premium costs. The visitor can then purchase the plan based on their custom needs directly from the comparison utility using a credit card. The visitor insurance coverage can start as early as the following day.

Worldwide insurance

A friend of mine runs a small company in New York. All his employees and he travel at least once a month internationally. His biggest concern was
with regard to health care. How was he to find a policy that would provide worldwide coverage? He wanted just one policy that would cover a traveler both within and outside the USA. Well he did manage to find a policy like this on a website called Visitor Insurance USA.
This site provides a list of global health policies that provide medical coverage for executives who travel internationally. These policies may be purchased for a coverage period of 12 months or more and are renewable.
All of the plans cover medical emergencies, accidents and illnesses AND some of them even cover routine health care and in some situations pre-existing conditions.

You can compare global health insurance offered by various insurers in American Visitor Insurance and buy using a credit card.

Expatriate Insurance

Last year a co-worker of mine retired after working in the USA for over 20 years. She and her husband are both Mexican citizens and they were going to return to their country for their retirement. While she was sad to leave she did tell me that the one thing she was worried about was health coverage. Their children all live in various parts of the USA and so she and her husband would be back and forth between the two countries and needed to retain access to US health care. Luckily for her she found the expatriate or global insurance comarison facility in American visitor insurance. This site provides a variety of global health care plans. These plans are for people who live between the USA and their home country and therefore need access to US health care.

She was able to compare global medical insurance by various insurers under single roof in American Visitor Insurance. This exercise helped her to make an informed decision while buying global health insurance.
