How Free Child Coverage Works?
To qualify for complimentary child coverage under Travelex Ultimate, the following requirements apply:
- The child must be 17 years old or younger at the time of the trip.
- The child must be accompanied by a covered adult (age 18+) on the same Ultimate policy.
- One free child per insured adult - for example, 2 covered adults can bring 2 children for free.
- The child's individual trip cost must be equal to or less than the insured adult's trip cost. If it's higher, the difference must be insured separately.
- Free coverage applies to the base plan benefits only - if you add optional upgrades, those are charged per traveler, including children.
- Be sure to list each accompanying child during enrollment so they're properly covered.

Travelex Travel Select - Kids Travel Free Best for longer trips or when you want higher trip cancellation protection. Covers trips up to 365 days, with 100% trip cancellation and 150% trip interruption coverage (up to $50,000 / $75,000).
