The Travel America plan is available for domestic trips within the United States and provides a wide range of coverages for you and up to seven traveling companions for trips within the United States. Travel America is only available for domestic trips within the United States. This includes all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, trips to U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico are not eligible for coverage on this plan.

Keep in mind that Travel America is available for trips up to 14 days in length and within the United States. If your trip exceeds 14 days or takes you outside of the U.S., you may want to explore the Travel Select or Travel Basic plans instead.

When it comes to travel insurance, shared benefits means the coverage amounts listed on the policy are shared across all eligible travelers. In the event of a claim, the primary traveler who is listed on the policy would file the claim and submit all necessary receipts. The reimbursement on a claim will be paid to the primary traveler listed on the policy who will then distribute the funds to the traveling companions accordingly.

Travel America is limited to trips within the United States that are 14 days or less in length and at least 100 miles away from your residence.

It is also important to know the trip cancellation and interruption benefit of this plan only provides coverage for trip costs up to $750. If you are looking for a plan with additional trip cancellation and interruption coverage, you will want to consider theTravel Select or Travel Basic plan.
