Premium X Plan Cancelation

The Traveler can purchase an optional rider at the time of application. The optional riders provide additional coverage for a minimal charge.

  • Changes in dates can be made with no additional charge or penalty. This includes preponing or postponing coverage before the effective date of the plan. This is always our policy and will not changes
  • Policies can be cancelled before the start date of the policy with a minimal $25 cancellation fee. If the insured has not started their trip due to unforeseen circumstances, they may be eligible to cancel the policy.
  • For example, if a week has passed and they want cancel the policy- that is not possible. There's no cancellation of policy after start date
  • However, due to coronavirus- If it is day 1 of the policy only, we can still consider it for cancellation during this coronavirus period if the visitor has not yet begin their trip (on a case by case basis).

Although the UltraPlus covers $700 for pre-existing, the customer will get the PPO discount on the bill since it is covered. This in itself can translate to very significant savings such as an 80% discount + $700 paid out. This means your total coverage was $8,700 and out of pocket expense is only $1,300.

Hello we are looking for cover for my parents, can you help. I think the INF Premier X would work well, but please let me know offering $100,000 plus the $25k pre-exisiting.Two people, aged 80. They are in Barbados at the moment, but UK citizens.They would like to travel to the USA and be there for about 6months, so say until 1 August to cover.
We would like to add the pre-existing conditions cover, at the $25,000 amount. Can you confirm if there are restrictions or rules on this that we need to look at?
We might want to travel back to Barbados, so I assume it should be the world including USA.

The INF Premier X is a fixed or limited plan. Please look over the brochure for details. The pre-existing condition coverage is covered like anything else but with a higher deductible and lower maximum as you note. To get $25,000 coverage for pre-existing conditions, you must choose the higher deductible of $5,000.

What is not covered by INF Premier X Plan Insurance:

1. Maintenance Treatment, Devices, or Prescription Drugs
Includes treatment for on-going illnesses, derivatives/ complications of that illness, medical devices to monitor chronic conditions, or maintenance drugs for pre-existing conditions like Lipitor or Amlodipine.
2. Preventative Treatment, Devices, or Prescription Drugs
INF will not cover preventive treatment like physicals, regular doctor checkups, or drugs that are used for prevention of other diseases.
3. Pregnancy & Childbirth
No coverage for pregnancy before the policy effective date.
4. Cancer Treatment
No coverage for cancer treatment, or cancer related illnesses in the policy.
5. Dialysis Treatment
No coverage for dialysis treatment.
6. Planned, expected, or anticipated medical care
There is no coverage for expected, planned, or anticipated medical care. If your clients are planning to take their visitor to any clinic, treatment, or anything of the like it will be rejected by the insurance company.

INF does not cover medical tourism for issues like elective or medically necessary surgery, cancer treatments, specialist treatment for on-going medical issues.
