INF Hop! TripAssist Plus is a travel assistance membership program that offers comprehensive medical and travel support for travelers who have pre-existing conditions. It is not a travel insurance policy, but a service that arranges for direct billing with in-network providers on your behalf. To be eligible for INF Hop! TripAssist Plus, you must be a non-U.S. citizen traveling outside your home country for a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of 364 days. You must also be at least 31 days old and not yet 65 years old. It covers eligible medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, acute onset of pre-existing conditions, worsening of pre-existing conditions, and more. It also includes features such as Hop Assist, a dedicated service that makes all the appointments for you, Telehealth, a service that allows you to consult with a licensed physician via phone or video call, and Travel Intelligence, a service that provides access to travel alerts, destination guides, health and safety tips, and more.

INF Hop! TripAssist Plus is suitable for older travelers who want the best protection available for their pre-existing conditions. The program covers chronic, stable pre-existing conditions that worsen during travel, as well as acute onset of pre-existing conditions that require urgent care. Depending on the chosen membership tier, members can enjoy coverage ranging from $150K to $300K for new sicknesses and accidents, and from $50K to $100K for pre-existing conditions.

Instead, Hop! takes care of everything for them, making it incredibly easy and stress-free to use the program.

Note: Hop! requires members to contact Hop Assist within certain times to access benefits. Non-Life-Threatening Medical Assistance requires notification within 7 days of first symptom.

Life-threatening Medical Assistance need to be reported within 48 hours of first symptom. Travel Assistance requires notification within 24 hours of the incident.

There are 6 types of plans in Hop! Travel Assist. We have 5 comprehensive plans Hop Classico, Hop Ultra, Hop Ultra Plus, Hop VIP and Hop VIP plus.

There is also one fixed plan HOP TripAssist Plus travel Assist. There is a minimum purchase of 30 days required to buy these INF HOP plans.

Travel assistance by Hop includes medical support, travel benefits, and a 24/7 concierge team. We coordinate all your benefits for you to ensure you never pay out of pocket from medical and travel assistance. Hop offers medical assistance for pre-existing conditions and utilizes United Healthcare PPO in the United States

An Access Expense is a non-refundable deposit to be paid before medical assistance is provided. There is only 1 access expense to be paid during the duration of your membership.

Once you subscribe for a Hop Membership- go to the “My Account” section on the top of the page, and click “Sign In”. After, click the “Sign Up” button on the log in link and set up your password for your new account.

Assistance levels are the amount of benefits payable under the membership. For example, if you choose an assistance level of $300k – this means your membership entitles you to $300k of benefits.
