1.What are the country restrictions to buy Diplomat America plan?

The Diplomat America insurance is not available for citizens of Australia or Iran.This plan is not designed to cover US residents for travel outside the United States.
The Diplomat International is not available for travel in Iran.This plan is not available for citizens of Australia or Iran or residents of New York, Maryland and South Dakota.
Diplomat America Insurance be bought by US citizens for short term travel to the US if they intend to return to their foreign address afterward.
Diplomat Long Term (LT) must be purchased for a minimum of 3 months, the maximum is 365 days. Renewal coverage may be purchased for up to 365 days at a time up to a maximum of 3 years.
After you pay the selected deductible, the plan pays 80% up to $5,000 of eligible costs, then 100% to the Medical Maximum. There will be an additional $250 deductible for each emergency room visit as a result of an Illness. The emergency room deductible will be waived if hospital admittance is within 12 hours of the incident.

The Beneficiary is the person named by the policy holder to receive the Accidental Death and Dismemberment Benefit should this benefit become payable. The Beneficiary may be any person chosen by the policy holder.
The Accident Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit on the travel insurance policy goes to the Beneficiary. The applicant should provide the Beneficiary name while buying the policy.
Travel insurance policies can be bought till the day before your trip departure or desired effective date.
Travel insurance coverage under is not renewable under the Diplomat plans. If additional coverage time is needed, a new policy must be purchased.
A refund will be considered only with a written request prior to the effective date of individual coverage. A $25 cancellation fee is charged in this situation. After the effective date of travel insurance coverage, the premium is considered fully earned and is non-refundable. Partial refunds are not available in the Global Underwriter policies.

Covid-19 is excluded on the Diplomat International plan. This plan does not cover any claim in any way caused by or resulting from:
1. a) Coronavirus disease (COVID-19);
2. b) Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2);
3. c) any mutation or variation of SARS-CoV-2;
4. d) any fear or threat of a), b) or c) above
