Yes. If you initially buy less than 364 days of coverage, you may buy additional time, to a total of 1,092 days. A new deductible and coinsurance applies beginning the 365th day and again the 729th day, but your original effective date is used to calculate your deductible and coinsurance and to determine pre-existing conditions.
