Annual travel insurance or multi-trip travel insurance provides year-round protection for frequent travelers aged 60 and above.
Annual travel insurance covers multiple trips taken within a 12-month period under one policy. Instead of buying insurance for every trip, travelers can save time and money with a single plan. Most plans limit each trip to 30-90 days, making them ideal for frequent travelers who take shorter vacations throughout the year.
Annual trip cancellation insurance is designed to protect the non-refundable costs of multiple trips booked throughout the year. This type of coverage can reimburse prepaid expenses if a trip must be canceled or interrupted due to covered reasons such as illness, injury, or other unforeseen events.

Annual travel insurance also known as multi-trip or yearly travel insurance is ideal for travelers who travel outside the United States multiple times in a year. Plans offered through American Visitor Insurance are designed to meet the unique needs of older travelers by providing medical protection and travel emergency benefits across multiple trips under a single policy.
When choosing the best annual travel insurance, here are the key factors to consider:
Europe Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance is designed for individuals who take multiple trips within a year, with each trip occurring within the European continent. It provides coverage for various travel-related incidents and emergencies during those trips.
Corporate employees and business people who visit Europe multiple times in a year can benefit from this insurance. It's convenient and often cost-effective for frequent European travelers.
Coverage can include trip cancellation/interruption, emergency medical expenses, baggage loss or delay, travel delays and more. Coverage specifics can vary between insurance providers, so it's essential to review policy details.
Age restrictions can vary between insurers. Some may offer policies with age limits, while others may provide coverage regardless of age. Be sure to check the age limits with your chosen insurer.
Some policies exclude coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. If you have pre-existing conditions, compare different plans on American Visitor Insurance or discuss with their licensed agents for purchasing additional coverage if necessary.
Winter sports coverage is usually an optional add-on. If you plan to participate in winter sports activities, ensure that you purchase this additional coverage.
Many insurance plans available on American Visitor Insurance can be customized based on coverage needs. You can often choose coverage limits, add optional coverage for specific activities, or adjust deductibles to suit your needs.
In the event of a covered incident, contact your insurance provider as soon as possible. They will guide you through the claims process, which typically involves providing documentation and receipts to support your claim.
Policies typically have exclusions, which can vary between plans. Common exclusions may include pre-existing medical conditions, travel to high-risk destinations, and certain adventurous activities. Review the plans on American Visitor Insurance to understand the exclusions.
Most annual multi-trip policies offer a cooling-off period during which you can cancel for a full or partial refund. After this period, you may not be able to cancel and receive a refund, so check the cancellation policy before purchase.
Most policies available on American Visitor Insurance do not have any waiting period before certain coverage benefits become active.
