It includes coverage for injuries from accident and sickness, emergency medical and political evacuation, trip interruption, baggage, repatriation of remains and Accidental death and dismemberment (AD & D).
Additional Details:Safe Travels Outbound Insurance is a great economical option for travel outside the US. This plan is for US residents traveling abroad and can be used to satisfy Schengen visa requirements (be sure to choose at least a $50k maximum and a $0 deductible to meet those requirements).
This policy has newly added a travel delay benefit of $2k per person ($150 per day) which can be used in case of COVID quarantine at your destination. This benefit can be increased to $4k ($300 per day) or $7k ($500 per day) for additional cost. Note that the confirmation email will include a link to a VISA LETTER which states clearly that the policy covers costs related to COVID-19.
