Safe Travels trip cancellation insurance helps protect both the traveler and the investment made for the trip. It offers pre-departure benefits if you need to cancel your trip before you start, as well as post-departure benefits like coverage for travel delays, trip interruptions, and emergency medical expenses while you're traveling.
Trawick International Safe Travels Trip Protection Plans cover non-refundable, prepaid costs if you cancel a tour or flight for a covered reason. Some plans also offer optional benefits like Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) and Interruption for Any Reason (IFAR).
It is recommended to purchase insurance when making your first trip payment, but you can buy trip cancellation coverage up until the day before you leave. For plans offering CFAR, you must add this benefit within a specified period from the initial deposit or final payment date, and ensure all prepaid non-refundable trip costs are covered. Please note that CFAR is not available in New York.
