Cancellation

    You cannot have filed any claims to be eligible for a premium refund.

Restrictions

The Atlas Series is not available to individuals who are physically located in the states of New York, Maryland, or Washington; or in the countries of Canada or Australia at time of purchase.

01. What Are Atlas International and Atlas America?

Atlas Travel policyholders who are U.S. citizens or non-U.S. citizens traveling outside of the U.S. will be covered under Atlas International, which provides coverage outside of the United States.

Atlas Travel policyholders who are non-U.S. citizens (and home country is not the United States) traveling to the United States will be covered under Atlas America. (For the purpose of this American visitor insurance coverage, the United States also includes Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.)

The correct plan will be automatically selected for you when you purchase your Atlas Travel plan, depending on whether your trip includes coverage for the U.S. (You will only be covered for the U.S. if you are a non-U.S. citizen, your home country is not the United States, and all or part of your travel includes the U.S.)

02. Can I buy Atlas International insurance for Schengen visa?

Yes, you can buy Atlas International insurance as it satisfies the Schengen visa requirements as mandated by the European consulates and also offers the Schengen visa letter as required by the Schengen state consulates. Atlas International travel insurance also offers visa letter in French if required.

03. Can US citizens buy Atlas International insurance?

Yes. Atlas International plan is available for both US and Non-US citizens traveling outside the US.This plan is available from 5 days to 364 days.

04. Does Atlas International insurance cover pre-existing conditions?

Atlas International health insurance for travellers is one of the travel insurance for pre existing conditions as it offers coverage for acute onset of pre-existing are covered up to the age of 80 years. It however excludes coverage for chronic and congenital conditions. For visitors aged up to 70 years, it offers coverage up to overall maximum limit. Visitors aged between 70 to 79 years can get coverage up to the overall maximum limit or $100,000, whichever is lower.
