Trawick International plans provide coverage for COVID 19 as long as the plan is effective before the individual gets sick. Trawick International requires pre certification in case of requirement of coverage for COVID 19. That is, the insured needs to call the insurance company and let them know the need for COVID 19 coverage. If there is a chance of cancelling the plan, then it is important to check the terms and conditions of cancellation for that particular plan.
*The policy covers COVID-19 subject to the terms and conditions of the policy normal limits and policy conditions including pre-ex, so if you already have the virus - it will not cover you. If you are in the incubation period when you buy, it will be considered pre-existing condition. * Testing for COVID-19 will be covered under your policy if you are sick, are referred by a medical practitioner and it is carried out at an approved facility, subject to the terms and conditions in your policy. * In the event that a test proves positive and requires treatment, members can be assured that all associated treatment costs would be covered under the normal benefit limits and terms of their policy. Trawick International Collegiate Care Preferred Student insurance
Collegiate Care Preferred plans provide insurance coverage to students residing temporarily outside their home country or country of permanent residence and actively engaged in education, teaching or research activities like: F1/J1 valid Visa holder, Undergraduate – registered for and attending classes on a full-time basis, Graduate Student, Scholar or researcher who is invited by an educational organization, Students involved in education, educational activities, or research related activities in USA. Spouse and dependent children are eligible for coverage if they are accompanying the participant. Students to be eligible under this plan must be actively attending classes for at least the first 31 calendar days after the date for which the coverage is purchased. Home study, correspondence, internet classes, and television courses do not fulfill the eligibility requirements of Collegiate Care Plans.

Emergency Evacuation and Return of Mortal Remains/Repatriation
If the local attending Legally Qualified Physician and the authorized travel assistance company determine that it is Medically Necessary for You to return to Your primary place of residence because of an unforeseen Sickness or Injury which is acute or life-threatening.
If You are traveling alone and will be hospitalized for more than 7 consecutive days and Emergency Evacuation or Medical Repatriation is not imminent, benefits will be paid to transport one person, chosen by You, by Economy Transportation, for a single visit to and from Your bedside
