New Travel Limitations for US citizens

The epidemiological situation is in constant change since the outbreak of Covid19 pandemic. Travelers from the US were banned from all European countries for the last 15 months. The travel restrictions have been relaxed and the EU Commission has re-opened its borders for travelers with various safety measures, quarantine and testing requirements. There is also an EU Digital COVID19 certificate that helps the easy movement of the travelers.

The European government has allowed international l travel to its citizens from July 19 2021. The states of the European Union has gradually lifted the travel restrictions for residents of the below third countries:

Non –Essential travel to European countries - With the ongoing vaccination drives and developments in the pandemic situation across the globe, on 3rd May 2021 the EU Commission proposed to its member states to ease restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU countries. Due to the increase in the covid19 pandemic in the U K. US has issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for the UK. The U.S. government continues to have travel restrictions for travelers from the UK to the US. US citizens can travel to UK and European countries

Due to the surge of the new JN1 variants since September 2021 the European Union has recommended that all non-essential US visitors should be banned from entering EU. However there is no pressure on the countries to follow the measure. It’s entirely up to the country for choose or decline the ban for US Citizens.
