Hi i bought a policy recently. when it expired does it auto renew?

No. Whatever dates you entered and paid for are a one-time charge (with the exception of a very few student medical insurance plans which can be signed up for with monthly renewals). Most travel insurance policies CAN be renewed before they expire, but if you do nothing, your visitor travel insurance coverage simply ends with no further charge. You may get an email reminder that you CAN renew your policy, but if you do not need additional coverage, you can safely ignore it.

The plan covers non emergency and non surgical visits.
If you go within the PPO network, then there will be 10% co-insurance applicable that you need to pay after paying the on time deductible and the rest of the money is covered by the insurance company. The 10% co-insurance is applicable for the first $5000 of the expense, after which the insurance company will cover the 100%.
Please note that this response is for a comprehensive plan which has a 10% coinsurance in network and a 20% coinsurance out of network. Different plans have different coinsurance percents and policies, so be sure to check the one you are interested in before your purchase.

Patriot America Lite online insurance renewal for Fiance in US
I had purchased a policy for my fiancé (Patriot Travel Medical Insurance) in March, 2017. We are recently married and but still seeking permanent insurance for her. She is now living here in Fairlawn, Ohio USA.
The policy is good from March 8, 2017 to July 8, 2017. If I need to extend the policy for 30 or 60 days what do I need to do to make that happen?

US visitor health insurance needs!. You should be able to renew your plan in the last month of the policy unless you have already renewed it for the maximum time allowed (6 or 12 months, usually 12). You should get an email from the company telling you the policy is up for renewal and then you can simply click on the hotlink to go through their online process.
If you have reached the limit of your policy, you can purchase a new policy to begin on the day after your policy is set to expire. Please let us know if we can help you in any further.

Extension of expired policy

Clarification regarding Renewal of policy
I currently have Atlas International Policy E91107720 which is valid to 30 Jan 2015. At that time I will still be 69 years old and I would like to renew the policy for one year. On 03 Jul 2015 I will turn 70. My question is: if I renew the policy while I am still 69 and turn 70 during the policy period, will the amount of coverage (currently $500,000) remain the same when I turn 70 in the middle of what would be the then existing policy period? Please advise!

The member will have the maximum benefit options that correspond to their age at the time the policy goes into effect. So , you would maintain that level of coverage throughout the length of the certificate period even though you turn 70 during the certificate period.
