Looking to buy your Patriot Exchange program.
I am a UK citizen and will be doing my Masters in Ohio, USA and have my F1 visa.
My University's own healthcare plan has stipulated if I take out my own healthcare plan they need to be based in the USA and the underwriters need to be American too. If the Insurance plans are not underwritten within the United States they do not meet waiver requirements. Plans that are not underwritten in the United States are not required to meet mandated benefit and underwriting regulations as set forth by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
