Be an active Participant, Spouse of the Participant, or Children
traveling with the Participant and residing outside his/her primary Country of Residence for a temporary period of time, and if Destination Country is the United States, Insured Person must hold one of the following visa types: F1/F2, J1/J2, M1/M2 or A1/A2
Be at least 31 days old but not yet 65 year old.
Be physically and legally residing in the destination country with the intent to reside there for at least 30 days on the effective date and at renewal.
Not be hospitalized, disabled, pregnant or HIV+ on the initial effective date.
Activities Covered upto lifetime maximum:
Abseiling, BMX, bobsleigh, bungee jumping, canyoning, caving, hang gliding, heli-skiing, high diving, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, inline skating, jet skiing, jungle zip lining, kayaking, mountain biking, paragliding, parascending, piloting a non-commerical aircraft, rappelling, rock climbing or mountaineering (ropes and guides to 4500m from ground level), scuba diving (to 50m), skydiving, snow boarding, snowmobiling, snow skiing, spelunking, surfing, trekking, whitewater rafting (to Class V), and wildlife safaris. These adventure activities must be engaged in solely for leisure, recreation, or entertainment purposes.
Age 0-49 years: $50,000 lifetime maximum
Age 50-59 years: $30,000 lifetime maximum
Age 60-64 years: $15,000 lifetime maximum
Loss Personal Property: $250 per period of coverage limit
Legal Assistance: $500 per period of coverage limit
Personal Liability - Injury to third party: $2,000 per period of coverage limit after $100 deductible
