Eligibility

Non-U.S. citizens traveling outside their home country.
For visitors over 65 years of age and visiting the US the initial period of coverage must begin within 30 days of arrival.

Renewability

Coverage is available from 5 days to 2 years.
Renewed online max up to 2 years.

Pre-existing condition

Offers Acute onset of pre-existing coverage up to the age of 70 years.
$25,000 maximum limit for emergency medical evacuation.

Cancellation

Before effective date: Full refund of premium is available.
After effective date: $25 cancellation fee will be charged by the insurance company.

Restrictions

Excludes coverage for residents of Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine and travelers visiting Belarus, Russia, or Ukraine.

The Visitors Care plan covers clearly defined amounts for different medical situations up to a medical maximum coverage ($50,000). The insured must pay the deductible ($100). After that, the insurance plan pays fixed amount as defined in the policy for specific treatment. In this hypothetical example described in the table, the insured has to pay $17,050. This is the difference between the fixed amount the insurance pays and the actual billed amount.
