Kaeng Krachan National Park is the largest national park of Thailand. The National Park lies on the border with Myanmar and is contiguous with the Tanintharyi Nature Reserve. Kaeng Krachan National Park is also popular thanks to being close to Hua Hin.
The Kaeng Krachan National Park covers parts of the Nong Ya Plong, Kaeng Krachan, and Tha Yang districts of Phetchaburi Province, and of Hua Hin of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The park consists mainly of rain forests on the eastern slope of the Tenasserim Mountain Range.
Layout of Kaeng Krachan National Park :- Originally covering an area of 2,478 square kilometer, it was increased in 1984 to include the boundary area between Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan Provinces.
